Tribute to Rick Senske

Rick Senske, Scott Smith and Chris Corn were initiated into the Wanderers in 1982. They wanted in bad enough to walk through Fashion Island in Newport Beach in bathrobes to See's Candy Store and pull a number. All the way people were laughing.Chris had a Chevy truck with a 454 Engine, Scott had a 74' Chevelle and Rick had a 1968 Dodge Charger with a 440 Magnum Engine. One Friday night in October 1983 The Wanderers were cruising Whittier Blvd. Rick, Chris and Scott did not join us that night. Rick was my Raqetball partner in a Saturday Class at Goldenwest College. I got the call the next morning that Rick had been hit by a car, he was in a coma and died October 10th. They creamated him in his Wanderers Jacket. This was the first friend that I knew that had died. His ashes were spread in the Pacific Ocean. Every October 10th we pour a Fosters beer into the ocean for Rick. Rest in Peace Buddy.
